Question
Calling all established and budding poets. Where are you when you write your poems?
I write mine in my bedroom, which is double aspect. One window looks out on to a beautiful silver birch tree, which can inspire me all year round with the changing seasons.its taller than the house The other window looks out on my garden. I can only write where I feel comfortable. Change of room and it just doesnt work for me.
Answer
I usually try to write in my dorm closet tight fit but worth it or on a street bench, where its unlikely that anyone will distract me. But Ive been known to whip out my notepad at frat parties, something thats prompted the nickname quotthe Poet.quot But anyway, generally speaking, I try to write in private or in a place so public that I attract little notice.
